According to the pages of "I Slept With Joey Ramone", they named themselves The Rattlers because Joey gave brother Mickey a rattlesnake rattler. A side is great power pop with Joey singing back up, B side not as exciting, but still worthwhile.

The Ramones 'Too Tough To Die' (1984)
I never could get into the Ramones during their heyday. Too many jocks at my school loved 'em. But when this record came out it caught my ear, all things Ramones, and I paid attention. Lucky for me their were several years worth of great records to catch up on!
