The Who 'Sings My Generation' (1966)
This US version differs only slightly from it's '65 issued counterpart: instead of "I'm a Man" you get "Instant Party".
Some liner notes: The Who is a vocal and instrumental quartet, often described as four tough, modern guys. Individually, The Who consists of Roger Daltry who has a hard style of vocalizing, accentuated by hurling the mike around and crashing it into the drums; bassist John Entwhistle is quiet, moody and seldom moves, but says he's the anchor who keeps the group from flying away; Keith Moon, the "baby" of the group, not only plays the drums, he "attacks" them, and invariably ends up with broken drumsticks; and finally, Pete Townsend, not content with spreading both arms out and doing a "birdman" with the guitar droning away, he also smashes the guitar, neck first, into his microphone speakers to wring out every possible sound he can get.

theres also about 0:40 edited out of "the kids are alright" on the US version. also, go with the MONO version of this in any country of issue!! the Stereo versions sound real weak & thin while the mono ones KILL!!
