Heazlewood 'Badge or Medallion?' (1995), 'Introducing the Ron Asheton Club'(1995), 'Surf's Up in Malibu'(1993) 7"s
Skronk is right... Heazlewood churns out lo-fi, noisy musics from some psychedelic futurespace. The rips for 'Surf's Up in Malibu' are appropriated from kiwi tapes (indeed, a fine site). The others are mine. This breed of music will live forever.
"Drawing inspiration from the total holistic, historic and downright hateful world of rock n roll many fingers point willingly to such figures as Lee Hazlewood, Lou Reed, Kenny Rogers, Ron Ashton, Jimi Hendrix., and Dick Dale. Of course Chris has never been to outer space but when he does he will have some songs to play those crazy cats out there."

What is the password for the zip file?
I don't use passwords so that's news to me...
I just re-downloaded the file. When I try to extract, I am prompted for a password. It's a mystery to me as well!
I downloaded it myself and didn't have a problem. I know that sometimes things won't unzip in one program so I have to use another. You can also get some of these recs at kiwitapes.
Very strange...
aaaargh
OK, I figured it out. Windows has an issue when file/folder names have special characters like ? or ". I copied the archive over to a Mac and opened it with no trouble.
Now why Windows interpreted special characters in a filename as an archive needing a password is a mystery, but I won't lose sleep over it!
Glad you got it. Some good stuff too.
Damn computers!
Poor old Chris - still can't make a cent from his rock 'n roll LOL...
He made money offa me -- I own all these singles (and more) on vinyl! I'm grateful to Alan for saving me the trouble of having to digitize my copies.
