Lift Up Your Hood

DMZ 'Bomp EP' (1977) and 'First Time Is The Best Time' (1986) 7"s
DMZ was a first-wave punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, strongly influenced by 1960s garage rock. In early 1976, Jeff Conolly (a.k.a. Mono Mann, Monoman, etc.) stole the lead vocalist position in the nascent band by out-performing their singer at one of the band's practices.[1] Along with his vocals he brought two things the band lacked: keyboards (an electric piano) and original songs. - Wikipedia
'First Time...' was recorded in 1976. DMZ discography can be found here.

DMZ are like gods, man. Been listening to this shit every night at work: the first LP (plus these 2 singles) on repeat all night....now I got to get the rest of their stuff. Before the internet it was so hard to get stuff like this; counted myself lucky to have a few tracks of Children of Nuggets plus some 5th generation c-tape stuff...Thanks! Got any more lol?
