The Joneses 'Criminals' EP (1983) Snotty, garagey, rockabilly punk from these L.A. hipsters. I bought this way back when because it featured my childhood skateboarding idol, Steve Olsen on bass. If you're jonesing, this will fix you.
Wow, did not know about this. Steve Olsen is bytheways interviewed on the'EpiclyLater'd' show on vbs.tv (in an episode on his kid, Alex Olsen, who is also a skateboarder). Thanks...
Thanks! - used to see them play sometimes. But I think they're waaay overrated. I heard Criminals is a song they stole from their old guitarist (notice how different it is). Bedrock is a Flinstones tune (cool!). White & Pretty is a rip-off of a (then) unknown NY Dolls song called Lone Star Queen (now available on 'Rock 'n Roll' lp). Crocodile Rock is Elton John - a better version by them is currently available here http://www.myspace.com/thejoneses82 . Ms. 714 is Johnny Thunders' Born To Lose. Check out the originals - much better!

Ah, yes, such is the nature of rock 'n' rollers to rip each other off whenever needed, ha, ha!
