She's my fix

The Morlocks 'She's My Fix' 7" (1989)
A limited release featuring a couple of twisted tracks recorded before the original band broke up. "She's My Fix" is real scorcher.

wow man, you have stuff I haven't heard or thought about since they came out.

Snivel Shits - holy shit!
The Zeros - I used to play catch on Broadway with Hector and some of the band.
I liked their music live, they had soul.

And The Morlocks - the embodiment of snarling snot punk garage, it seemed.

I pinch-hit dj'd for their Halloween '85 gig at the sleazy 181 Club on Turk St. in the Tenderloin.

Paul (their semi-manager) wouldn't let me run up the hill for 20 minutes to grab my own records.
I ended up playing "I Need You" by Zakary Thaks (?) twice, there were so few cool albums on hand to pick from.
I was in this glass booth, people staring, not reacting hardly. The cool ones.

And then, wham, scriiiitch...zweeek..splap!

The whole stack (all 20 or so) LPs came crashing down on the turntable with the record playing.

"OK, that's all, thanks, we'll call you...
Next!"
