The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band 'Part One' (1967)
These LA folkies won't hurt you, but their name is certainly fitting. After a DIY debut 'Volume 1', they were signed to Reprise and recorded this album. It's a mixed affair of folk, psyche and flat out wackiness. "Help, I'm a Rock" wouldn't be out of place on The Monks LP. Read more about 'em here.

Thanks for posting this! I found this LP about 7 years ago at a dumpy Salvation Army in Dothan, AL. I didn't know who they were but the cover looked cool. Back then I wasn't into pscyh but this LP changed things for me. I bought the LP for a dollar and it is in excellent condition. That was a score I'll never forget!
