Solarflares 'Look What I Made Out of My Head' (2002)
Another one from the 'flares. Groovy as always. Graham Day and the gang always amaze, wearing their influences on their sleeves, yet creating an original sound. Loud guitars, heavy organs, pounding rhythm... What more do you want, blood?

thanks head vein, nice post to see as i come up for air. spent the last couple of days off and on looking for "skafish-joan fan club". i got troubles? and my head hurts. later on.
Thanks for these Solarflares and Primemovers albums. They're very hard to come by in my part of the world. I saw Graham Day with his new band the Gaolers a couple of months ago. He's still got it.
Cheers
kinda stumbled into your blog and discovered a few real gem s , thanks a lot man
Thanks for all the cool shares here. I don't know if these are your rips or reposts from elsewhere, but I thought I'd mention that I heard errors in several things I grabbed here today, dropouts and glitches in the Chocolate Watchband, Nomads and Wailers. There's lots of what I'll call "static" in several tracks in this rip. According to something I read once, this usually happens when a disc is ripped at too high a speed (something about "out of phase," but I can't remember it all), though I guess it could be a dirty disc or something else. I know I used to get lots of errors before I learned not to type or move the mouse while a rip was in progress. Anyway, thought I'd let you know in case these are yours, I'm sure you want to share "quality" stuff. Aside from all the excess noise, this Solarflares album sounds terrific. I'm going to be hitting the stores and doing some used cd shopping this weekend and I'll be on the lookout for my own copy of this one. Thanks for turning me on.
