The Feelies 'Time For A Witness' (1991)
For their final effort, The Feelies do their best channelling a Lou Reed/VU vibe through their usual guitar-based rhythms and drones. But the guitars are little louder, a little harder... the vocals a little more engaging. The sound is relaxed, uncomplicated, unpretentious, and yet there is an exhilarating rock tension swirling all around. A real cool time!
