Spiritualized 'Anyway That You Want Me/Step Into The Breeze 1 & 2' 12" (1990)
After the breakup of Spacemen 3, Jason and Sonic went on to create vast libraries of great (and some mediocre) music with Spiritualized and Spectrum respectively, neither one quite achieving the sublimity of their former band. This first 12" by Spiritualized has a symphonic feel, mixing strings with fuzzed guitar. "Anyway..." ends up louder and heavier than the Troggs original. Thoroughly spacey and enjoyable.

This was my first dance song at my wedding, such a beautiful song, even my grandad was in tears when it finished! Unfortunately i got divorced four years laterso i find it hard listening nowadays!
