The Troggs 'Wild Thing' (1966)
In the annals of 60's punk The Troggs stand tall. From Reg Presley's vocal sneer, Chris Britton's fuzzed guitar licks to their overall primitive sound, these cats were above average in every department. Ripped from a slightly scratchy monophonic original issue, experience it for yourself.

Thanks hdvns for all these fantastic vinyl rips. To these ears a good vinyl rip usually sounds much better than one from CD.

Glad to help, and I agree!
Really, really dig this, and the other Troggs LP that's up there...I had a compilation of Troggs covers called "Groin Thunder," so I was familar with many of the songs, but I really love the Troggs' original arrangements, which are nicely revealed with the restrained playing. I especially enjoy the rhythym section---the bass and drumming add a lot to sonic structure.
